Mondo Mediaworks hires Pete Biolsi to manage public relations and social media campaigns
BRATTLEBORO, VT, April 22, 2011 /Online Marketing - SEO PR News/ -- Looking to strengthen its foundation as an action sports marketing agency, Mondo Mediaworks announced today the addition of Pete Biolsi as Digital Communications Manager. The announcement came on the heels of a collaboration between Mondo and a new snowboard manufacturer called Global Mind Elevation.
"Mondo is growing," said Luke Stafford, the Vermont-based company's owner. "As we form more relationships in the action sports industry, it made sense to hire a guy who lives and breathes it."
Biolsi made the move to Mondo after a season in the marketing department at Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, Vermont. An avid snowboarder and outdoorsman, Biolsi will invigorate public relations and social media campaigns for several of Mondo' s clients, including the Vermont Ski Areas Association and Global Mind Elevation.
"I'm pumped," said Biolsi. "What I do for fun translates directly over to my job. Mondo is a progressive agency with a strong Vermont/action sports connection. It's a unique balance unlike anywhere I've worked before and I see great things happening here."

ABOUT PETE BIOLSI
A native of Southern Vermont, Biolsi developed a love for the outdoors at a young age. After earning his B.S. in Public Communication at the University of Vermont, Biolsi joined 2WiredGuys, a local computer repair shop, as a service technician and brand ambassador. He later became the Communications Coordinator at Okemo Mountain Resort, generating daily conditions reports and managing the mountain's online presence through Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. As liaison to Ski Vermont, Ride Vermont, and other industry advocacy groups, Biolsi was closely involved with promotions, events, and demos including the on-snow debut of Global Mind Elevation snowboards.
ABOUT LUKE Q. STAFFORD
Stafford grew up in Saugerties, N.Y. before earning a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vt. He worked in the Mount Snow ski resort marketing department for four years - his last position as the Communications Manager - before starting Mondo Mediaworks. He lives in South Newfane, Vt. with his wife, Suzanne, an art teacher and librarian at Newfane Elementary, and baby girl, Lucia.
